(Brea, CA) – VITA recently announced its partnership with the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS) as one of their primary benefactors. The partnership will allow VITA to develop course curriculum with CCADS in several core competencies, including restorative esthetics and shade communication. CCADS is a unique post graduate dental education program that offers world class training, a high level of live, hands-on clinical experience, year-round support and mentorship and a distinctive learning environment with locally delivered programs.
The CCADS program is composed of two key parts: The Core Excellency Series, consisting of a 1-day, Hands-on Typodont course, a 4-day, Level 2 Live Patient Hands-on course, a 4-day, Level 3 Live Patient Hands-on course and the CCADS Study Clubs. The level of hands-on work CCADS provides and the support participants receive during training from their instructors, peers, program managers and laboratory staff has made the program a top choice for continuing dental education.
