VITA served as general sponsor for this year’s Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry (SCAD) hosted in Chicago. The seventh-annual conference event featured high quality, evidence-based information on color-related issues in dentistry presented by some of the industry’s foremost leaders.
The 2015 recipients for the SCAD VITA Award for Excellence in Research Related to Color and Appearance in Esthetic Dentistry, the Larsen-Chu Award for Excellence in Dental Technology and the Virtuoso Award were also announced. Dr. William M. Johnston presented the SCAD VITA Research Award to Dr. Natalie Pereira Sanchez of the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, and Mr. Aki Yoshida, Chair of the SCAD CDT Awards, presented the 2015 Larsen-Chu Award to Mr. Ryan Sungmin Lim and the Virtuoso Award to Mr. Nori Kawada.
