CAD/Cast partial denture frames – printed easily, quickly and precisely in the laboratory

The Varseo 3D printer from BEGO makes it possible to print an array of different products directly in dental laboratories. The Bremen-based dental company offers many specially developed high-performance resin for multiple applications – including the production of CAD/Cast partial denture frames.

BEGO- LOGOBEGO has been fabricating and supplying materials such as waxes, investment materials, alloys and medical devices, as well as providing relevant expertise in the production of partial denture frames for more than 60 years. 2015 saw the new development of a coordinated system comprising a 3D printer, software, high-performance resin and investment material for the digital realisation of frames using the partial denture technique. These innovations do in fact connect seamlessly to tried-and-tested BEGO technologies like the Nautilus® CC plus automatic casting machine. Users benefit from reliable production with maximum time savings in the laboratory, and guaranteed optimal reproducibility. BEGO has made it simple to rely on a single source that combines a realistic synergy of analogue and digital technologies.

VarseoWax CAD-Cast

The first-class green strength of the VarseoWax CAD/Cast high-performance resin facilitates immediate processing without additional light-curing, which also translates to time savings. The investment material VarseoVest P was developed specially for the investment of plotted objects. It is coordinated to the expansion of the resin and allows preheating using the shock-heat method, thereby significantly reducing the time required for heating. Investment or setting of the mould under pressure ensures particularly smooth cast objects. The systematic processing as well as the printing and processing parameters specially developed for the resin ensure smooth production sequences with reproducible results at any time.
