Toronto–Lux & Zwingenberger Ltd., SciCan’s parent company, has acquired 100 percent ownership of BHT-Hygienetechnik GmbH, located in Gersthofen, Germany, and its subsidiary company BHT-Pharma. BHT specializes in equipment for washing, disinfection and drying of reusable items in the hospital, laboratory and phamaceutical industries worldwide.
For many years SciCan has represented BHT’s Innova medical products in Canada, while BHT has manufactured SciCan’s HYDRIM line of large dental instrument washers.
