André Schroeder Research Prize – One of the most prestigious awards in dentistry, the André Schroeder Research Prize serves to promote new scientific findings in implant dentistry and related fields.


Established almost 20 years ago, the André Schroeder Research Prize is an annual award presented by the ITI in honor of the late Professor André Schroeder (1918-2004), the founding ITI President, who pioneered implant dentistry and whose lifework contributed significantly to modern dentistry.

Worth 20,000 Swiss Francs in cash, the André Schroeder Research Prize is today one of the most highly sought-after awards in implant dentistry. It is awarded to independent researchers for the advancement of dental research and development. The aim is to promote new scientific findings in implant dentistry, oral tissue regeneration and related fields.

The André Schroeder Research Prize is adjudicated by the ITI Research Committee. The ITI Research Committee is made up of international specialists in implant dentistry and related fields.

2011 André Schroeder Research Prize
In 2011, the André Schroeder Research Prize will be presented at the ITI Congress Benelux in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which will take place from June 10 to 11.

If you have new findings in implant dentistry, oral tissue regeneration and related fields, we cordially invite you to apply for the 2011 André Schroeder Research Prize. The application deadline for the 2011 André Schroeder Research Prize is April 15, 2011. Late applications will not be accepted.

An objective evaluation of an application is only possible if precise and complete information is provided by the applicant. The application form must be filled out in English, as thoroughly as possible and in full compliance with the terms and conditions for participation.

The completed application form must be saved as a PDF file and sent to the ITI Center to research@iticenter.ch by email. Applications submitted by conventional mail will not be accepted.
