Decompression case – endodontics

From Dr. Fred Barnett

Patient is a 16 year old female; past history of trauma to tooth #2.1.
Patient originally presented with a significant cellulitis (to the orbital
area) to her local ER and she was admitted and placed on IV clindamycin. She was
then referred to us for treatment.

Decompression case……6 weeks between radiographs.  Angles are a bit
different, but it looks as if there is some healing going on. The lateral and
canine have tested WNL to cold and EPT from the very beginning.  Tooth #2.1 is
being retreated with Ca(OH)2 and there is an iodoform gauze drain into the
lesion.
