Dentsply and Astra Tech sitting in a tree, D-o-m-i-n-a-t-i-n-g

Personally, bigger is never better. Customer service and the value of the enduser goes out the window in lieu of margins and bottom lines. Perhaps Bret W. Wise may see this as an opportunity to turn the corporate culture of Dentsply around, but I’m not going to hold my breath. We’ve become a market driven profession and that is simply an invitation to exploitive management practices, numbing of creative passion and enthusiasm, narrow mindness and internal competitiveness that is dispiriting.  It is a work environment that is conceptually disassociated from the people for whom it was designed to serve. It foster an egocentricism that is exclusionary to the end user, rather than inclusionary.  Share this with a Dentsply rep near and dear to you and watch the response.
