The Cellerant Best of Class Technology Awards were created by Dr. Lou Shuman in 2009 to recognize innovative products that set a standard of quality in their respective categories. The awards are presented at the American Dental Association’s Annual Meeting and aim to create awareness of how practices will operate now and in the future.
The 2024 Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award winners were selected by a panel of the most prominent technology leaders in dentistry: John Flucke, DDS, Technology Editor for Dental Products Report; Marty Jablow, DMD, known as America’s technology coach; Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, DMD, Editor-In-Chief of Dental Economics; Chris Salierno, DDS, Chief Dental Officer at Tend; and Lou Shuman, DMD, CAGS, CEO of Cellerant Consulting Group, founder and creator of the Best of Class Technology Awards.
Over the course of the year, the panel members sought out and conducted research on potentially practice-changing technologies, culminating with deliberations on nominees and final voting. Panelists are precluded from voting in any category where they have consulting relationships. The entire selection process is rigorous, transparent, and conducted on a not-for-profit basis.
