For years, Dr. Steven Bongard had made dental implants a prominent aspect of his general practices. However, upon learning about and soon developing his expertise in the revolutionary All-on-4 treatment concept, Dr. Bongard decided to open a new practice solely devoted to dental implant restoration. Based on the idea of transforming his edentulous patients’ lives one smile at a time, the new practice was christened Chrysalis Dental Centre.
Naturally, the new practice required a new facility — one that would be optimized for patient care while suited to the training requirements of Chrysalis’ All-on-4 dental team. As such, Chrysalis selected a spacious, ground floor unit located in the heart of Toronto, at Yonge St. and Highway 401.
Once the location was selected, Chrysalis contacted interior designer Gloria Fine to help bring the dream to fruition. “Chrysalis really wanted to create a space that put their patients’ needs first, while also ensuring that affiliated dental professionals could easily learn about the revolutionary treatment,” says the designer. The result is a stunning combination of bright, spacious rooms, and light wood treatments complimented by modern metallic accents.
Working with Sinclair Dental, Anthem Contracting, and Global Total Office, design consultant Fine has designed a comfortable, yet highly effective workplace. Highlights include a spacious waiting lounge, three operatories, a soothing recovery suite, versatile training room and an on-site denturist lab crucial to maximizing the efficiency of the All-on-4 treatment for optimizing the patient experience.
Dr. Bongard and the entire Chrysalis team are thrilled with the results.
“To see the look on our patients’ faces when they step into this office is incredibly satisfying. Many of them can’t believe that this is really a dental office.” Dr. Bongard says. “Our goal from the start was to provide the ultimate in patient satisfaction.
