He Shoots, He Shoots, He Scores!

Dr. Allan Hawryluk Sr. has been a Port Credit, ON, native his entire life. He is the team dentist for both the Toronto Maple Leafs and its farm team, the Toronto Marlies. With the revitalization of the Port Credit core and when an anchor piece of property came available, he decided to take advantage of the opportunity to expand.

In his pursuit of excellence, he decided to take advantage of new technologies at the new location, in addition to making room for his son, Allan Hawryluk Jr., who had recently joined the practice.

He wanted a timeless look — warm and elegant — without being too traditional. The colour theme is one of latte cream and black.

Upon entering the suite, one is struck by the contemporary flair of an updated classical look, where the cherry wood reception desk and commodes are modern yet comforting. The reception area and operatories are larger proportionately than the private offices and team room, as a goal of the project was enhanced patient comfort. Natural elements were used throughout the office. The operatory floors are glossy porcelain tiles with a black granite border for hygienic and traffic purposes.

The ADEC operatory cabinets feature Wilsonart solid surfaces for asepsis and wearability.

All walls are papered for hygiene and maintenance, giving a soft, peaceful look to the office.

The abundance of windows that add to the curbside appeal enabled the Hawryluks to make use of lots of natural light.

Interior design and project management was by Alexander Karpuchin (ARIDO) of Alexander’s Gallery in Etobicoke. Construction by John Giardulla.
