Ivoclar Vivadent and Noble Biocare Provide Solutions to Dental Professionals

A materials training course hosted by Ivoclar Vivadent and Nobel Biocare was recently held at the Nobel Biocare Training Facility in Richmond Hill, ON, Canada, on November 11th and 12th. Led by instructor Bill Barton, CDT, TE, a technical consultant for Ivoclar Vivadent, the course provided lectures and hands-on training in the use of IPS e.max CAD, Titanium Implants, and Telio CAD.  Well received by participants, the first jointly-run program between two of the foremost names in dental manufacturing and dental continuing education was deemed a success. To provide their patients with the best in function, longevity, and esthetics, attendees participated in hands-on course work focused on an innovative lithium disilicate glass-ceramic material (IPS e.max).  Indicated for use for applications ranging from thin veneers to bridges, IPS e.max CAD restorations offer the best in strength, function, and esthetics.  In conjunction, participants also learned the added benefits that advanced titanium dental implants (Noble Biocare) provide to support lithium disilicate restorations and how the two systems can be used together to deliver the standard of care in prosthetic dentistry. Nobel Biocare, an industry-leader in advanced implants, treatment planning, and guided surgery, provides dental solutions from a single source to guarantee high-quality, flexible, and highly-compatible solutions for various indication.  Produced from a variety of biocompatible and high-strength materials, Nobel Biocare implants offer safe and predictable results while meeting the clinical and esthetic demands of dentists and patients.

Additionally, the course provided instruction in obtaining the best results when provisional restorations are required. Participants garnered a greater understanding of how to create temporary restorations that deliver exceptional esthetics using an innovative acrylic provisional material (Telio CAD), which is indicated for use in cases requiring long-term provisional prosthetics, however Telio offers a solution for every indication.

The success of this first training course springboards ongoing collaboration between Ivoclar Vivadent and Noble Biocare to provide dental professionals with compatible, advanced dental solutions that satisfy clinician and patient expectations.
