Septodont is introducing Toothfairy™: a new, BPA-Free Pit & Fissure Sealant that covers and seals pits and fissures in the occlusal surfaces of posterior teeth to aid in the resistance and development of caries. Toothfairy™ does not contain Bis-Phenol A (BPA), Bis-Phenol A Diglycidyl Methacrylate (Bis-GMA) and Ethoxylate of Bis-Phenol A Dimetahcrylate (EBPDMA), making the product very biocompatible.
Toothfairy™ Pit & Fissure Sealant is a resin-based, light-cured sealant with low viscosity, which allows the material to penetrate into the deepest pits and fissures in the teeth. Toothfairy™ is white opaque to help identify its retention at recall appointments. Toothfairy™ is also non-toxic and has a high polymerization conversion, which cures quickly to a hard and retentive sealant. Additionally, Toothfairy™ is economically priced.
