MouthWatch Invites Hygienists to be Teledentistry Changemakers at ADHA

How will teledentistry be implemented to reach those in need, empower careers in dental hygiene and build all types of dental practices? MouthWatch, the creators of the award-winning MouthWatch Intraoral Camera and leading teledentistry platform TeleDent, will be at this year’s annual ADHA conference in Jacksonville, Florida to share insights on those questions.

“Teledentistry-friendly laws are being passed at an increasing rate as state governments begin to realize they can no longer ignore the benefits that teledentistry provides. Now, we need to develop an awareness in the dental community that teledentistry is a real option, with real-life case studies and concrete models for how it works,” explains Brant Herman, CEO of MouthWatch, LLC. “I hope everyone who attends the ADHA Conference will make it to the presentation by Michelle Noblet-Vacha on her experience with teledentistry in multiple senior care settings as one example of teledentistry making an impact.”

Noblet-Vacha, RDH, BS is the founder and Executive Director of Senior Mobile Dental, a nonprofit that serves Arizona, Colorado and Minnesota and is looking to expand to other states. June 16th at the ADHA conference she will present, “Teledentistry and Addressing the State of Decay in Older Adults.”
