Dab Fig2 HIstology OFG

Histological view-staining with Hematoxylin & Eosin A). Low magnification of the lesion OFG shows hyperplastic, parakeratinized stratified squamous epithelium covering fibrous connective tissue. The connective tissue contains patchy dense chronic inflammatory infiltrates comprised of lymphocytes and plasma cells as well as scattered non-necrotizing/non-caseating granulomas consisting of epithelioid histiocytes and multinucleated giant cells. B) Lower magnification of OFG shows presence of dense inflammatory lymphocytic infiltration and a multinucleated giant cell. (H&E; original magnification Å~10). C) Higher magnification of OFG non-caseating granuloma showing multinucleated giant cell, epithelioid histiocyte and infiltration of lymphocytes. D) Higher magnification of OFG Showing enlarged view of the multinucleated giant cell and infiltration of lymphocytes and plasma cells extending into the epithelium. (H&E; original magnification Å~200).
