In Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Le 32 Clinique Dentaire stands as a testament to Dr. Jennifer Seidler’s passion and vision for practice excellence. Her path to dentistry took an adventurous route where during her CEGEP post-secondary education she was initially exploring veterinary medicine. She quickly discovered that it wasn’t fully her calling but still felt a deep passion for healthcare. Dentistry subsequently sparked her interest, offering a perfect blend of patient care, precision, and innovation. By 2015, less than two years after graduating from dental school, Dr. Seidler was ready to bring her entrepreneurial passions, clinical interests, and personal brand of care to life. While boarding a flight after a conference, she received a call from a professional colleague about a prime location available in a fast-growing plaza anchored by a busy Costco. Acting swiftly, she secured the space and her dream of redefining modern dentistry with cutting-edge technology and exceptional patient care was born.
The how: Planning & preparation
After seven years of success, Le 32 Clinique Dentaire had outgrown its original six-operatory 2400 sq/ft facility. By 2022, Dr. Seidler began seeking expansion opportunities within the plaza but faced some challenges as neighboring tenants were happy in their existing units and not planning on relocating any time soon. Just as the dream of an internal plaza expansion seemed unattainable, a neighboring grocery store announced its relocation. Dr. Seidler acted quickly, securing 5100 sq/feet of the vacated space and beginning to plan the transition. Permits were issued in January 2023, with demolition starting in November. By January 2024, construction was underway, and the new facility was completed by June with a minimal disruption to patient care. She credits their smooth transition to the support of her equipment supplier and design team, emphasizing how building a cohesive dental team and partnering with external experts who share your vision is crucial to a smooth relocation and expansion.
The results: Technical design features
The new 5100 sq/ft facility is a masterclass blend of functionality with thoughtful design. The twelve-operatory clinic is designed to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. At the entrance, a dedicated concierge greets guests warmly, directing them to their personal receptionist station, each assigned to support a specific dentist, which fosters stronger patient relations. The inviting, modern interior consists of features such as a coat and boot entry area for snowy winters, a vibrant kids play zone, and a social media wall for celebrating patient smiles. A centralized “Technology Garage” for shared mobile dental equipment ensures seamless integration of technology into treatment rooms throughout the office. The calming design palette of warm whites, natural wood tones, and subtle purple accents create a serene yet professional overall atmosphere. Each detail, from the flow of the check-in and check-out areas to the thoughtful amenities, reflects a commitment to patient comfort and a passion for innovation.
The impact: Empowered practice outcomes
The entire team is excited to redefine excellence in dentistry. The addition of a mezzanine level staff room offers a welcoming retreat for everyone, while a beautiful main floor boardroom provides a space for collaborative team meetings and important professional education. Multiple dedicated office spaces allow for seamless administrative work and patient discussions to occur in privacy and comfort. Dr. Seidler envisions this new chapter as a launchpad for the continued innovative growth of their office. She believes dentistry is constantly evolving with endless opportunities to advance patient care. The thoughtfully designed space is more than a dental practice.
