Dental Professionals Impacted by Wildfires Can Apply for Disaster Relief Grant

To help dental professionals in need, the CDA Foundation has established a Disaster Relief Grant for individuals — a one-time, single-installment grant that provides financial assistance of up to $5,000 per California dentist, dental staff member currently employed in the dental field or CDA component dental society staff member. The grant is for immediate and emergency needs (food, shelter, clothing, etc.) as a direct result of the 2018 California wildfires, which together have destroyed more than 1,000 homes and businesses to date.

For assistance with recovery efforts, qualifying individuals affected by these wildfires are encouraged to apply for this Disaster Relief Grant. More details about the grant along with criteria are included with the application.

Those who wish to contribute to the relief efforts through the Disaster Relief Grant can text RELIEFGRANT to 91999 or visit cdafoundation.org/donate to donate online.

Additionally, The Dentists Insurance Company is offering guidance and support to assist members in dealing with the impact on their practices. To reach a TDIC service representative or a risk management analyst, call 800.733.0633.
