Dentist Could Have Licence Revoked for Having a Sexual Relationship with Patient

A dentist practising in Toronto could face fines and a revocation of his licence “for allegedly getting into a two-year extramarital affair with a woman soon after she became his patient, and having a child with her —  something a disciplinary panel with his professional college has called ‘sexual abuse,'” reports CBC News.

In January 2022, the disciplinary hearings began concerning allegations that he had participated in a sexual relationship with a patient and that he loaned money to another patient.

Until the decision is made by the RCDSO, Dr. Amir Haydarian continues to practise under certain conditions.
