Early Study Suggests Poor Oral Health Can Affect Brain Later in Life

Preliminary research shows that gum and teeth health can have benefits for your brain health. These results are set to be presented at the American Stroke Association’s International Stroke Conference next week.

Since it is still early, “the researchers say more evidence, including through clinical trials, and a broader pool of subjects are needed,” reports Canada Today. But it suggests that people who are predisposed to poor oral health are at a higher risk of poor brain health.
