The Government of Canada announced that $15 million is being awarded to Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada so they can begin working on the operation of the Canadian Dental Care Plan to ensure a successful launch of the full program.
“This includes work such as recruitment, information technology-related activities and business planning,” they reported in a press release.
This is an interim measure and the full contract should be approved and awarded in the fall of 2023.
