These powers include being able to administer medicine without getting the approval of a dentist first. If this plan is approved, it would free up a lot of time for dentists to focus on other essential services.
These plans are still in discussion and the Department of Health will be publishing a full dental recovery plan soon, reports DailyMail.com.
This response follows a report made by the Health and Social Care committee that called for urgent and real reform for dentistry in the UK.
