The average value of a lost tooth in the U.S. declined by 6% from $6.23 to $5.84, the company revealed in a recent press release. The average value of a first lost tooth has also dropped.
Delta Dental has been tracking U.S. Tooth Fairy trends for the last 26 years as a way to promote and show the importance of children’s oral health. Last year, the value of a lost tooth reached a record high.
