Newest AACD Credentialed Members Join Ranks of Elite Practitioners

The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) recently recognized and honored 21 dental professionals who have demonstrated their dedication to continuing education and responsible patient care by becoming credentialed by the AACD. This year, the AACD acknowledged 15 newly Accredited Members and six newly Accredited Fellows during the 33rd Annual AACD Scientific Session in Las Vegas.

AACD Accreditation is an honor, and can only be reached by completing a rigorous credentialing process including a written examination, oral examination, and the submission of clinical cases for peer-reviewed evaluation. The Accreditation process, which was developed by the AACD and is the world’s most recognized advanced credentialing program, encourages further education, interaction with like-minded colleagues, and the opportunity for professional growth. Accreditation requires dedication to continuing education and responsible patient care.

The newly Accredited Members recognized this past week include: Somkiat Aimplee, DDS, AAACD; Káren Baghdasaryan, DDS, AAACD; Teresa J. Bello-Burgos, DMD, AAACD; Jaline Boccuzzi, DMD, AAACD; Michael W. Brumm, DMD, AAACD; Dennis B. Hartlieb, DDS, AAACD;

Amy E. Hughes, DDS, AAACD; Karsten Klimmek, MDT, AAACD; Jeffrey W. Lineberry, DDS, AAACD; Cecilia Eichenholz Omo, DDS, AAACD; Aparna Sadineni, DDS, AAACD; Clarence P. Tam, DDS, AAACD; Hannu Vesanen, DDS, AAACD; Paul E. VreNon, DDS, AAACD and Eric Wang, DDS, AAACD.

The AACD also welcomed six new Accredited Fellows to its ranks. The purpose of Fellowship is to provide the highest level of achievement for members in accordance with the AACD’s mission of eucation and excellence.

AACD’s new Accredited Fellows include:

Edgar Jimenez, FAACD owns and operates Edgar Jimenez Dental Studio, a full-service boutique lab in North Oaks, MN. Jimenez has lectured nationwide on implant design, ceramics, CAD/CAM, and the total team approach. He has been featured in numerous dental publications and is an active participant in the AACD community, supporting both the AACD University Outreach and Give Back a Smile programs.

Erik Haupt, FAACD earned his degree in Business Management from California State University, Fullerton. He has been a member of the AACD since 2002 and achieved Accredited Member status in 2007.

Jack Ringer, DDS, FAACD attended college at the University of California, San Diego and then graduated from dental school in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ringer became an Accredited Member of the AACD in 2007 and went on to serve as the President of the AACD from 2013 to 2014.

Juan Rego, CDT, FAACD co-owns and operates “Smile Designs by Rego,” located in Santa Fe Springs, California with his brother Nelson Rego, CDT, AAACD. Theirs is a progressive dental laboratory, established in 1980.

Trinh Lee, DDS, FAACD received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles and obtained her dental degree from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in 1998. She co-owns and operates Allure Dental Center with her sister, Suzanna Lee, DDS, AAACD in Mountain View, CA.

Craig Goldin, DDS, FAACD graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1985. He and his wife, Dr. Marcy Goldin, founded the Cosmetic Dentistry Institute in Troy, Michigan. They received the Cosmetic Practice of the Year Award in 2006 and won the Dental Office Design Competition in 2012.

The newly credentialed dental professionals were recognized and received their awards during a special ceremony at the 33rd Annual AACD Scientific Session held April 18 – 21, in Las Vegas.
