The Schulich Mini-MBA: Dentist Business Leadership Program is the only program of its kind in Canada designed for dentist entrepreneurs focused on enhancing their business management skills to drive growth and profitability in their dental practice.

This unique program delivers current MBA subjects in a practical time frame for busy dentists:

  • Completely online from May 12 – Nov 24, 2022
  • 18 workshops over 6 months (no summer months)
  • Topics include Human Resources Management, Finance, Strategic Management, Marketing & Brand Strategy, Dental law, Leading Healthcare Transformation, Entrepreneurship and  Innovation in Healthcare, The Business of Dental Clinics, Strategic Entrepreneurial Project, Emerging Digital Technologies, Business Disruptors and their Impact on Healthcare

Instructors in the online Dentist Mini-MBA are drawn from Schulich’s award-winning MBA and EMBA faculty members. Dentists will learn from the best on subject areas such as:

  • How to grow a practice leveraging business acumen and financial insights.
  • Exploring the entrepreneurial landscape in dentistry, the role of disruptive technologies, innovation, and new business models.
  • Leading a customer-focused dental practice.

Schulich Mini-MBA: Dentist Business Leadership Program 2022 Bursary Application for Oral Health

A bursary valued at $6,000 is available to an Oral Health reader for the Schulich Mini-MBA: Dentist Business Leadership Program. To apply for the bursary, please contact Robert Lynn, Associate Director, Schulich Executive Education Centre, York University, at rlynn@schulich.yorku.ca and submit your Bursary Application Letter (BAL) to Schulich Dentist Mini-MBA Program Director Dr. Michael Glogauer before the Apr 15, 2022 at 5pm EST application deadline.

The online Schulich Dentist Mini-MBA Program takes place May 12 – Nov 24, 2022.

 In order to apply for the bursary, applicants are required to:

  • Write and submit a Bursary Application Letter (BAL) to Program Director Dr. Michael Glogauer at michael.glogauer@uhn.ca before the Fri Apr 15, 2022 at 5pm EST application deadline, providing the following information:
  1. Name
  2. Title
  3. Organization/Company
  4. Address
  5. Cell Phone Number
  6. Work History
  7. Educational Background/Awards/Achievements
  8. Why are you interested in enrolling in the Schulich Mini-MBA: Dentist Business Leadership Program (maximum 250 words)?

If awarded the $6,000 bursary, the bursary award recipient is required to enroll online in the Schulich Mini-MBA: Dentist Business Leadership Program before Fri Apr 22, 2022 by paying the remaining $10,500 balance plus tax.

Applicants will be informed by April 29, 2022 of the outcome of their bursary application.
