Sirona’s VISION customer magazine wins FOX AWARD in two categories

VISION, the customer magazine from Sirona, the dental equipment manufacturer, won not one but two Silver awards at this year’s FOX AWARDS. The innovative magazine won the SILVER FOX AWARD in the “Integrated Concept” category in external communications for the field of healthcare/medical technology, and the SILVER FOX VISUALS for its strong design concept.

The customer magazine VISION has been lauded as an effective solution in print and digital marketing communications. A high-ranking panel of well-known publicists, journalists and communications scientists presented Sirona’s innovation magazine with a Silver FOX AWARD in the category “Healthcare, medical technology / integrated concept / external,” bearing testimony to the magazine’s outstanding effectiveness. VISION’s exceptional design also pleased the panel, winning it the SILVER FOX VISUAL. The design was assessed on about 50 criteria in the fields of layout, use of typography and imagery.

Sirona, market and technology leader in the dental industry, sees the awards as confirmation of its customer communications concept: “We use VISION to inform our international customers about innovations and new products in the world of dentistry and beyond. The international customer magazine VISION comes out twice a year at 29 locations around the world in English and German, both as a print magazine and as an e-paper, and can be accessed from the App Store as an interactive tablet magazine. The magazine’s four sections take an entertaining look at trends in the dental industry, report on the latest developments at Sirona, provide a variety of ideas and suggestions for everyday work in the practice, and offer background stories on well-known figures from the dental industry. This was well received by dentists and dental technicians: since the publication of the first few issues, there has been a rapid rise in the number of subscribers.

This year’s competition was run for the fifth year in a row by the industry’s service provider CP Wissen in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. The FOX AWARD panel pays particular attention to the effectiveness of the media submitted, lauding effective print and digital marketing communications solutions which have made recognizable advances in communications, marketing and sales over the previous months.
