The first day of CEREC 25 has come to an end and it was quite a full one! It started with an opening address from Michael Augins, President of Sirona US, and was followed up by Imtiaz Manji who introduced the next speakers, including Drs. Frank Spears, Gordon and Rella Christensen, all of whom addressed a full room of more than 3,000 attendees.
Dr. Spears talked about marrying technology with treatment planning and focused on understanding tooth wear. Gordon Christensen presented a lot of statistics looking at 25 years of CAD/CAM and where we are now and focused on the need to educate dentists more about CAD/CAM.
In the afternoon, Dr. Mormann, the developer of CEREC , spoke about the evolution of the CEREC system and where it is going.
