ADA Committee on the New Dentist Hosts 24th New Dentist Conference

Chicago, IL-Surf’s up in San Diego and so are opportunities for continuing education for new dentists. Distinguished speakers are slated to discuss oral health issues as well as clinical and practice issues at the American Dental Association (ADA) 24th New Dentist Conference at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa in San Diego, June 24-26.

Dentists are invited to join the ADA Committee on the New Dentist for a weekend of networking, continuing education and camaraderie at a conference that caters to the unique needs of new dentists-dentists who have been out of dental school less than ten years. Each clinical, professional issue and practice management course is hand-selected by the ADA’s Committee on the New Dentist.

Topics range from the science of dentistry such as endodontics and pediatric oral health to the business of dentistry such as using social media, ergonomics for the dental office and recession proof strategies. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a new full-day of pre-conference programming devoted to leadership development.

The ADA 24th New Dentist Conference is presented by the ADA Committee on the New Dentist and funded by ADA Insurance Plans, American Dental Political Action Committee, California Dental Association, DENTSPLY Tulsa Dental Specialties, Benco Dental, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Matsco, a Wells Fargo Company, ADA Business Resources and ADA’s Strategic Partner, Wm.
